Maruti Fronx 2025: ₹7.59 Lakh Starting Price with Premium Features

In July 2025 Maruti Suzuki revised the Fronx range. The six airbags are provided in all versions. This corresponds to the new safety regulations in India and displays that the Fronx is among the safest compact crossovers. The electronic stability control (ESC) and hill-hold assist were also added to the base Sigma and Delta variants, making it safer to traverse the road or inflicted elevation.

Engine Options and Driving Experience

The Fronx has two gasoline engines, a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated one with 90-hp powers and a 1.0-litre turbo Boosterjet that makes 100-hp and 147 NM. A 5-speed manual, 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT) or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission can be chosen. Such options are available to both long-distance travellers and city drivers.

Cabin Features and Tech Integration

All the Fronx is equipped with a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The addition of trims improves with higher trims to include a head-up display, 360-degree camera, and Arkamys-tuned sound system. Rear AC inlets, wireless charging, and paddle shifters allow adding luxuries, and ISOFIX mounts and seatbelt reminders will ensure the safety of the family.

Prices and Variants

Following the incident, the prices increased about by 4000 Indian rupees after the safety upgrade. The range opens at 7.59 lakh on the Sigma, which goes up to 12.95 lakh on the Alpha Turbo AT. The Delta Plus (O) variant remains the same but is a good bargain with added protection.

Design and Market Positioning

The Fronx has SUV styling on the Heartect platform and is a hatchback. It also has a sporty touch with its coupe body (like form), rugged grille style, and LED lights. The Fronx is the only model with six airbags as standard, compared with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Kia Sonet, which tend to offer this feature only on the highest variants.

Fuel Efficiency and CNG Option

Meanwhile, the normally aspirated petrol engine is capable of reaching the 22.89 kmpl and the turbo version scores approximately 20.01 kmpl. To environment friendly customers, Maruti continues with factory fitted CNG kit on Sigma and Delta that gives 28.51km/kg of mileage. This gives the Fronx a good reason to be purchased by the buyers wanting a performance or economy worthy car.
